But one of the resident of Madhya Pradesh Mohammad Azam Khan a supervisor at the Umri Aadhaar Card Centre crossed his limit by enrolling his dog for Aadhaar Card . Aadhaar Card was issued to his dog in the name of Tuffy. And when one of the local resident Akhilesh Singh Yadav came to know about this matter he filed a police complaint saying that the local Aadhaar Centre at Umri had issued an Aadhaar Card to a dog. After investigation Madhya Pradesh Police arrested Mr. Mohammad Azam Khan and seize the dogs Aadhaar Card , as well as police are also investigating further if more cards have been issued to animals. High Court of Gujarat requested Government to issue Aadhaar Cards to prisoners

More than 12,000 Indian Nationality prisoners all over Gujarat state to get Aadhaar Card within a month. The state Government agreed with Gujarat High Court request to issue Aadhaar Card’s for all prisoners in Gujarat and also assured that proper arrangements shall be made in prisons to enroll the inmates to obtain their Aadhaar Card’s, the state Government also added that the process to get enroll to obtain Aadhaar Card’s for prisoners will be commenced as soon as possible and would be completed by 15th Match 2014.  The Gujarat High Court took interest in this matter to issue Aadhaar Card’s for inmates in the prison because there where many cases where the inmates family members where requesting to grant bail to their inmate head of the family member to issue Aadhaar Card as its mandatory to get subsidized gas cylinders . Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) employees where denied to pay their wages as they were not obtaining their Aadhaar Card’s, and on Tuesday in this matter The Ministry of Rural Development directed the states not to reject employees job cards under MGNREGA for non-possession of post office account numbers/ bank or the Aadhaar Card .
