In September 2018 The Supreme Court of India gave judgment by upholding the Constitutional Validity of Aadhaar. Are now there is one more change coming soon in Aadhaar where the Aadhaar Holder may be able to withdraw their Aadhaar Number but only in one condition if he doesn’t have PAN Card. The mandatory condition of linking PAN with Aadhaar would remain unchanged. But residents above 18 Years if wishes could withdraw their Aadhaar. So by these new changes in Aadhaar, the holders would get the liberty to withdraw their Aadhaar Number anytime as they need. The Government of India is currently working on this new proposal and it would be finalized very soon and the changes would be soon reflected in the Aadhaar Act.
