Busted - Fake Aadhaar Centers Operated by Fraudsters

An Aadhaar Enrolment team from the Nodal Office raided a cyber cafe in Manesar and in Sector 18 Gurugram, as they were using rubber plaques with thumb impressions of authorized persons to run fake enrollment centers. Previously the team has submitted the report on the two cafes to additional deputy commissioner Munish Sharma, who ordered legal action. The Cyber Cafe on Manesar-Khoh Road which was being managed and run by Vinod Kumar was raided on September 6. Vinod Kumar was using thumb impression and software of his Jajjhar-based relative, which is an authorized operator under District Information Technology Society (DITS). Later on after two days one more raid was done on the Cyber Cafe in Sector 18 in Gurugram which is being run and managed by Dalip Singh. Extract from Hon'ble Supreme Court's Order on Petition Filed by Lokniti Foundation for Mobile Phone Verification Scheme

Government of India (GoI) informed the SC that "the department has launched Aadhaar-based eKYC for issuing mobile connections" Honorable Supreme Court in its order then said it was satisfied that "an effective process has been evolved to ensure identity verification, as well as, the addresses of all mobile phone subscribers for new subscribers. In the near future, and more particularly, within one year from today, a similar verification will be completed.

Colleges Intimated to Complete Aadhaar Linking of Students by December 31st

All degree colleges of the state private as well as government managements are been requested by Government to link their Students Aadhaar Number with their respective bank accounts who have been availing Central Government Scholarships. This process of linking Students Aadhaar Number with Bank Account shall be completed before 31st December, if they want to take benefit of scholarships granted by Central Government. After this notification has been passed by Government, the Commissioner of Collegiate Education has instructed all principals of the degree colleges of the state to get this process completed at earliest before the due date. Linking Aadhaar to PAN Card Deadline extended up to December 31, 2017

According to sources it was been in news that it is mandatory to link Aadhaar Card with PAN Card by 31st August 2017 , but now the Government on Thursday extended the deadline by more four months for linking PAN with Aadhaar i.e. till 31st December 2017. This extension has given huge relief to those who have filed their ITR by the due date 5th August 2017, who were unable to link their PAN with Aadhaar Number. The main reason behind deadline extension is because many taxpayers were unable to file their Income Tax Return because they could not link their PAN with Aadhaar. The tax department even had received lots of complaints from taxpayers sayings they were unable to link their Aadhaar with PAN due to their minor difference in name or details in both Aadhaar and PAN, also few people were not holding Aadhaar Card yet.

ITR won't be processed, If you don't link Aadhaar with PAN by Aug 31

Reserve Bank of India Directs Banks Linking Aadhaar Mandatory to Avail Crop Loans

The Reserve Bank of India has directed commercial banks to make linking Aadhaar Mandatory for Farmers to avail short-term crop loans in 2017-2018. "Interest Subvention Scheme for Short Term Crop Loans during the year 2017-18" notification was send to all public and private sector scheduled commercial banks by RBI. This step has been taken by RBI to ensure hassle-free benefits for farmers under interest subvention scheme, the banks are advised to take Aadhaar and link to respective farmers account in order to avail short term crop loans in 2017-2018. This development has been made after approval of central government on the implementation of the interest subvention scheme for the year 2017-18 for short-term crop loans up to ₹3 lakh with some stipulations. Aadhar Enrollment will be done at Govt. Premises and Private Agencies Withdrawn

Since Inception of Aadhar, Government was allowing private agencies to set up their Aadhar Enrolment Centers to Enroll Residents for Aadhar Card. The Private Agencies was equipped with fingerprint scanner, iris scanner, camera, laptop, printers and other devices to issue Aadhar Card. But from now the Unique Identification Authority of India had passed order to the authority to carry out Aadhar Enrolment under State Government, now onwards no Private Agency will be allowed to enroll residents for Aadhar this task will be undertaken by Government Authority. So does this mean the private Aadhar Enrolment Agencies are no more into business? Aadhaar Card will not be accepted for Travelling to Bhutan and Nepal

Indian's who are traveling to Bhutan or Nepal should be aware that Aadhaar Card will not be a valid document accepted for traveling to Bhutan and Nepal. Indian's can travel Bhutan or Nepal without visas only if they have valid national passport, voters id issued by election commission of India, PAN Card or Driving License. Travelers in age group between 15 years to 65 years should show valid documents which should contain photograph to confirm the identity and age. Aadhaar is mandatory for most of the things in India, but this is only field where the Aadhaar Card will not be considered as valid acceptable document to travel to Bhutan and Nepal.

Students without Aadhaar Card will not get Midday Meals after 30th June

Union HRD Ministry has directed school authorities to mandatorily take Aadhaar Cards of Kids for Midday Deals. The Government has also advised shiksha adhikari to make Aadhaar Cards of students who have still not applied for Aadhaar. Failing to produce Aadhaar Card will stop the midday meals of the students. All basic Shiksha Adhikari must get Aadhaar Card Details of all the midday beneficiaries, if the midday beneficiaries have not submitted their Aadhaar Numbers or have still not made Aadhaar, the authorities will be held responsible.

Doctor Arrested for Signing Aadhaar Papers for Pakistanis

The three Pakistani residents who were holding fake Aadhaar Cards has been arrested with the Kerala based man who assisted their stay on the Kumaraswamy Layout. In this matter another culprit has been caught which is the senior lady doctor from Jayanagar Government Hospital who helped the three Pakistanis to get Aadhaar Cards during their illegal stay in Bengaluru. Police have arrested this Senior Doctor named Dr C.S. Nagalakshmamma, who is Deputy Chief Medical Officer and a Gazetted officer who helped those three Pakistani Nationals in attesting their documents which the middle man Mohammed Shihab 26 years old had bought for verification. Mohammed Shihab has also told investigators that they had sent Rs.100/- each for getting the documents which allowed them to proceed to apply for Aadhar. However the Dr C.S. No Aadhaar than Get Ready to lose your Mobile Number

Department of Telecom (DOT) has directed all mobile phone operators of India to re-verify all its mobile number subscribers in India through Aadhaar Card. So now the telecom companies has already started sending out SMS to its subscribers stating to link their Aadhaar Number to their mobile number. According to Government of India it is mandatory to link Aadhaar Number with Mobile Number to enjoy continued services or else the subscriber number will be deactivated soon. DOT has given a deadline till 6th Feb 2018, to get subscribers Aadhaar Number to Mobile Number by using Aadhaar eKYC Process.

Pakistani's Enrolled for Aadhaar Card by paying Rs.100/-

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested three Pakistani residents who were illegally staying in India, and worst thing was they were holding Aadhaar Card. They had applied for Aadhaar without any documents by paying Rs.300/- as a bribe to the middleman in Banashankari, south Bengaluru. All these three Pakistani Resident and one middleman who want involved in helping getting Aadhaar Card are now in police custody. According to the sources it is been said that the Aadhaar Card has been issued to these three Pakistanis in the year Jan 2017. After getting Aadhaar Card and settling down in Kumaraswamy Layout residence, these trio were in plan to get local identity cards like voters id and ration card.

Aadhaar Mandatory for Admissions in Colleges

Department of Higher Education (DHE) has made Aadhaar Card Mandatory for candidates of traditional degree courses. The applicants who will be doing their admission will now have to furnish their Aadhaar Number. All student’s data will be verified through Aadhaar Card, so it is mandatory for students to produce their valid Aadhaar Number in the application form. Department of Higher Education (DHE) has also suggested concerned authorities to advertise this importance of Aadhaar Card in higher secondary schools, so that every students who wants to admit their self for courses will hold Aadhaar Card. Department of Higher Education (DHE) has also directed UIDAI to conduct mobile Aadhaar Enrolment at the college campuses, so that students, teaching and non-teaching staffs can apply for Aadhaar easily. Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Requested Students to Submit their Aadhaar

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Students will now have to mandatory submit their Aadhaar Details. Recording Aadhaar Details of the Students will allow TISS to conduct student’s fingerprints biometric attendance. TISS has passed a notice recently requesting students under its master’s programmes to produce their Aadhaar Details. Those students who are unable to produce their Aadhaar Details and Fingerprints will be discontinued from TISS. So those students who still don't have applied for Aadhaar are requested to get enrolled for Aadhaar Card , so that they can furnish the needs of TISS.

1000 Villagers in Allahabad has Same Birth Date in Aadhaar Card

Villagers of Kanjasa village in Allahabad were shocked when thousands of villages receive their Aadhaar Card's with identical birth date which is 1st January. These residents has complained about this mistake in date of birth to the officials saying nearly 1000 of 5000 residents staying in Kanjasa village in Allahabad has been issued Aadhaar Card with same birth date with variations in year of birth. The officials has replied to the villagers complaint saying this issue will be sorted out soon and all these residents who has received Aadhaar with identical Date of Birth will be issued new Aadhaar Card's with correct data, and appropriate action will be taken against the culprit who is responsible for the massive goof-up.

Aadhaar Mandatory for UP Board Exams

Now again there is one more usage of Aadhaar i.e. if you want to attend UP Board Exams it is mandatory to produce your Aadhaar Card. If the student doesn't hold Aadhaar or refuses to produce Aadhaar will not be eligible to sit for UP board examination. No Complaint's will be entertained if No Aadhaar: Mankhurd Police Station

If you need to lodge a FIR than you will need to produce Aadhaar Card, without it your complaint will not be taken in Mankhurd Police Station. No Ration If Aadhaar Number Not Linked

The food and civil supplies department of the state government has made mandatory for residents to link Aadhaar Number to Ration Card. If you want to get food grains at subsidized rates the residents have to submit their Aadhaar Number to respective Public Distribution System (PDS) shops till due date June 30th 2017. Failing to link Aadhar Number with Ration Card will miss the supply of grains at subsidized rates from the month of July.
