How to Get Aadhar Card Online

Are you still waiting for your Aadhaar Card to be delivered to you? Even waiting for several months you have still not received your Aadhaar?

Then yes you are at correct place, if you have Aadhaar Card Acknowledgement Copy you can get Aadhar Card Online. But before you head on to get your Aadhaar Card Online you will have to first check application status of Aadhaar. So now let’s move on to find e-Aadhar Card Status.

Check Aadhaar Card Application Status

Before we get in topic how to get Aadhar Card Online, we will have to find out if Aadhar Card Number have been generated by using Aadhar Card Application Status.

To check your Aadhaar Enrollment Status visit the myAadhaar official website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/

From the myAadhaar Services click on Check enrolment or update status

Here you will be landed on the Check Enrolment or Update Status Page, Select Enrolment no which will be selected by default and then enter the 14 digits enrollment id as mentioned on your Aadhaar acknowledgement receipt
 
You may also select date and time as printed on the slip, but its optional. Entering only 14 digits enrollment number would do to check the status. 
 
Solve the Captcha Security Code and click on the Submit button
 
On next page you will get to know the Aadhar Card Application Status whether your Aadhaar Number is Generated or Aadhaar Application is rejected.

And if your Aadhar Card Application Status is showing "Your Aadhaar has been generated. While your Aadhaar is being printed and posted to you, please download eAadhaar from www.UIDAI.gov.in" than you can get Aadhar Card Online by following How to Get Aadhaar Card Online Guide.

Get Aadhaar Card Online 

To Get Aadhaar Card Online or Download Aadhar Card Online you will have to visit Unique Identification Authority of India official website https://uidai.gov.in/

Select the language from the option in which you would like to access the website

From the UIDAI Homepage click on Download Aadhaar under section Get Aadhaar 
 
eAadhaar Download
From the e-Aadhaar Download page select enrolment id number and enter Aadhaar Enrolment Id as you can see printed on top of Aadhar Acknowledgement Slip with date and time. Where as date and time is optional, you can skip selecting date and time.

Once entering the details, solve the captcha security code and click on Send OTP
 
A One Time Password will be sent on your registered mobile number
 
Download Aadhaar OTP



Enter the received OTP and click on Verify & Download

Aadhaar Downloaded

Your Aadhaar Card will get downloaded on your PC and you will have to open e-Aadhaar Card PDF file in Adobe PDF Reader.
