Once downloading Aadhaar Card from the UIDAI Website, when you access the PDF file you will notice a Validity Unknown with a yellow colored question mark. And if you print the Aadhaar with such sign then on the printout too you will get to see the same error of Validity Unknown.
This Icon or Sign is nothing but an Digital Signature which confirms signer’s identity. To make this digital signature verified, you need to perform few additional steps after the download. And once performing those steps you will get to see Signature Valid with green tick mark on your Aadhaar, instead of the yellow question mark Signature not verified error.
To Validate the Digital Signature of e-Aadhaar Card, Open your e-Aadhaar Letter PDF Document using Adobe PDF Reader and then follow the process mentioned below for the successful validation of the Digital Signature on your e-Aadhaar Card Letter.

Double Click on Validity Unknown or Signature Not Verified Question Mark appearing in your Aadhaar.
A popup window will appear of Signature Validation Status. Click on the Signature properties.
This will open Signature Properties Window. Click on Show Signers Certificate.
Again a new window will open of Certificate Viewer.
In the Certificate Viewer, click on the Trust tab.
From the trust tab click on Add to trusted certificates.
A popup will appear asking if you change the trust settings you will need to re-validate any signatures to see the change. Click on OK on this popup.
This will open Import Contact Settings, from this window tick mark on Use this certificate as a trusted root and click on OK.
Again Click on OK on Certificate Viewer Window.
And then click on Validate Signature on Signature Properties window.
Wait for few seconds to validate and then Click on Close button on Signature properties window.
Again Click on OK on Certificate Viewer Window.
And then click on Validate Signature on Signature Properties window.
Wait for few seconds to validate and then Click on Close button on Signature properties window.
You will notice, in place of validity unknown. Signature valid is appearing with a green tick mark on it.
That's it, this is how you can validate the signature on your Aadhaar Card.

This process of Green Tick Aadhar Card can be done only on PC or Laptop, and not on mobile, nor any Green tick aadhar card app exists for the mobile.
