Yes, you heard it correct, this is the sixth time where the Aadhaar PAN Linkage deadline has been extended. The previous deadline to link Aadhaar with PAN was 31st March 2019, but now it has been extended for more than 6 months. So those people who have still not got their Aadhaar linked with PAN, they have more 6 months of time to get it linked.
However, The Supreme Court of India had also agreed and passed an order that it is mandatory to link or quote Aadhaar while filing Income Tax returns.
