Department of Financial Services Ministry of Finance has issued instructions on mandatory linking Aadhaar with Bank Account, linking Aadhaar will also help in Direct Benefit Transfer (Electronic Benefit Transfer - EBT) under various Government Schemes.
These benefits will directly be credited to the Bank accounts of the customers. To avail these benefits, linking of AADHAAR number to Bank account is made mandatory.

How to Link Aadhaar with Bank of Baroda through Bank of Baroda Branch

How to Link Aadhaar with Bank of Baroda through Bank of Baroda Branch
- To link your Aadhaar Number with your Bank of Baroda Account visit nearest Bank of Baroda Home Branch with your Aadhaar Card Copy and Bank Passbook.
- Take Aadhaar linking Form from the branch, fill up the form by entering your correct details.
- Enclose your copy of Aadhaar Card to the form, and submit it to the branch.
- You will be provided an acknowledgement confirming your request to link Aadhaar Card with Bank of Baroda Account.
- Once bank process your application you will get notified via your registered mobile number through SMS.
- Customer inserts ATM/Debit card in any Bank of Baroda ATM and selects AADHAAR registration option available under Services category.
- ATM will prompt the customer to enter AADHAAR number twice.
- On completion, customer will receive receipt of seeding the request.
- How to Link Aadhaar with Bank of Baroda through Bank of Baroda Internet Banking
- Customer has to login to Internet Banking using his/her User ID and Password.
- Choose the option ‘Aadhaar Seeding’ under the ‘Service’ tab.
- Fill your Aadhaar number and submit it.
- Visit Bank of Baroda Online Aadhaar Seeding Portal by clicking here
- Enter your Bank of Baroda Account Number, Mobile Number, Aadhaar Card and get your Aadhaar linked with your Bank of Baroda Account in few minutes Online.
- This facility is enabled only for our Bank’s customers registered for mobile alerts.
- Customer has to send an SMS to the 5616150 the AADHAAR request as per below format. The syntax for sending the SMS is given below:
- UID space <12 digit Aadhaar number>
- Upon successful registration of AADHAAR number, customer will receive an SMS in his/her mobile inbox.
