Verify Aadhaar Card Mobile Number

UIDAI provides a feature on its portal named verify the mobile number in Aadhaar. This feature of verifying the mobile number is just similar to checking which mobile number has been provided while your Aadhaar Application.


So this feature may come handy during those times when the Aadhaar holder itself doesn't remember which mobile number has been registered with his or her Aadhaar Card. Having a mobile number registered with Aadhaar is very important if you want to avail of various Aadhaar Online Services as well as you also get notified when your Aadhaar has been used at any place.

Below the complete process has been explained on how to verify the Aadhaar Card mobile number, but before that let's know the requirements which will be needed to verify the Aadhaar Card mobile number.

Requirements to ✓ Verify Aadhaar Card Mobile Number 📱

  1. To verify the Aadhaar mobile number you should have your 12 digits Aadhaar Number.
  2. Mobile Number
  3. Active Internet Connection 

Process to ✓ Verify Aadhaar Card Mobile Number

  • Visit Official Aadhar website www.uidai.gov.in

UIDAI Homepage
  • On the first page itself, you will find several options, under the Aadhaar Services search for Verify Email/ Mobile Number and click on that option.
Verify Aadhaar Mobile
  • Verify Email/Mobile Number page will get open in which you will need to enter your 12 digits Aadhaar Number, enter the mobile number, complete the Captcha Verification by typing the character you see in the picture and click on send OTP button.
  • On the next page, you will be able to see the mobile number verified.
  • You can verify your mobile number only once, and if you try to do it again then it will show you the message "The mobile you have entered already verified with our records."

      To verify your mobile number you should enter the OTP (One Time Password) without entering the OTP you can't verify your mobile number.

      You can download your Aadhaar Card PDF File from here http://e-aadhaar-card.blogspot.com/2013/05/download-e-aadhaar-card-free-of-cost.html and while downloading it will display your old mobile select no and enter the new mobile number, and you will receive the OTP Number in the new entered mobile number and than you can download your Aadhaar Card.

    My father aadhaar card has been rejected due to data/process error,when I check the enrollment id which is not in the format suitable to check in official website, since the enrollment mode is done on the basis of NPR, but my brother and mother whom enrolled at the same time got aadhaar cards, what is the procedure to enroll again for my father

      To re-enroll you will have to follow the entire process which you have followed while you have newly enrolled.

    Dear Sir,

    Please help me, my query is "I have given my mobile number at the time of registration of my father Aadhar Card at Government allotted Booth, which has been deactivated one an half year ago. My father received his Aadhar Card, but there is a correction in his name. When I am trying to use online service of Aadhar Card, it is sending OTP to my old mobile number. Now I am using another mobile number. How do I get that password on my current mobile number, with the help of it I can make correction in his name.

    I didn't give my mobile number while registering for my aadhaar card and i didn't receive my aadhaar card yet but on status verification i got it as aadhaar has been generated but i am not able to download my aadhaar card. Is there any possibility that i can download my aadhaar card with out my mobile number

    Sir, when I checked my mobile no. in my Aadhar for the first time and clicked on " send OTP" it did not send any OTP to my mobile no. Then I again clicked on "send OTP" and it showed the massage "The mobile you have entered already verified with our records." So, sir is there any problem ? sir plz tell.

      No need to be worried, if you had earlier verified your mobile number then it will show "The mobile you have entered already verified with our records."
